ABOUT THE ARTIST

Based in Montreal, Alessandrini was born in Turin in 1979 and developed a passion for music, sports, and photography during his youth. He pursued his natural career path by studying photographic art and delving into the world of photo surrealism.

In 1998, after graduating in Photographic Arts, he took his first steps working in the field of photo-surrealism and started traveling around the world, everywhere... living for some time in Sitges and Los Angeles.The unique blend of medias and formal discipline of painting sets the work of Francesco Alessandrini apart. He is an artist who embodies a synthesis of artistic traits - the modern abstract training, the sweeping bands of color, and the atmospheric qualities. The fusion of color, spontaneity and representation has produced a rich and expressive body of work.
