When accepted, you will need to send us high resolution files of your artwork. We take care of the rest, from print production to payment and transaction processing, from packaging and shipping, to excellent customer service.

Email us your bio and phone pictures of the images you would like selling. When your work is selected, we will send you a personalized link for you to view our commission agreement, format and resolution needed and general details.
Once your files are ready, we will take care of all publishing online, displays at decor and design trade-shows, online marketing, sales, framing, deliveries and collections. All commissions are paid monthly.
The Picturalist keeps current with the trends and images you see in the leading European and North American art journals and interior design magazines and we will bridge you with buyers of decorative art all over North America.

Sell prints of your paintings, photographs, drawings, new media, and prints under your name or pseudonym to our network of North American Interior Designers, Hotel and Commercial Architects and Furniture Showroom Retailers.
For each of our available print sizes and substrates, when a buyer places an order, we take care of everything for you, including: printing, framing, matting, stretching, packaging, shipping, insuring, processing credit cards, dealing with customers, and sending you your profits each month.
Our curators will assess your artwork and contact you before considering adding it to our collections.
Recommended file specs:
- Dimensions: 13500 x 13500 *up to 16000 x 16000
- PPI: 300ppi (150ppi minimum)
- Colorspace: RGB or CYMK
- Final file Format: JPG
If you’re digitizing traditionally made artwork (watercolors, gouache, acrylic and oil paintings, single lines, etc.), scanning or photographing your artwork in the highest DPI possible is crucial.
When scanning, please save in a lossless format like TIFF.
When photographing your work, make sure you’re capturing it at the highest resolution possible and editing RAW files (not jpegs). By exceeding our minimum requirements you’ll increase the color data processed by our printers and have the opportunity to enable larger size prints with the highest quality.
When a buyer purchases your art, it gets produced, packed and shipped.
You get paid every 1st of the month via PayPal, with a 30-day per purchase grace period from date of shipment.
