What is vinyl wallpaper?
Vinyl wallpaper is wallpaper with a coating of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or acrylic vinyl. Some vinyl wallpapers contain a paper substrate or fabric backing, but are still considered very durable due to their vinyl surface. This type of wallpaper is designed to meet fire retardant standards to meet the requirements for commercial and hospitality applications (350-type standard ASTM E84).
