Museum-quality art, trade pricing, and a team that understands your deadline.

The Picturalist Trade Program is built around the working realities of interior design practice — not the ideal conditions. Decisions on art are often made late in a project cycle, under time pressure, subject to client approval, and tied to installation dates that don't move. The program is structured to absorb all of that: fast turnaround, genuine customization flexibility, dedicated account support, no minimum order, and a catalog deep enough to serve every room, every client, and every budget range within a single professional relationship.

Featured Project — Desert Lakes Residence

Art by The Picturalist  |  Interior Design by Michael Walters  |  Photography by Stephen Schauer

Large-format architectural photography print in a white frame above a sofa in a mid-century modern living room — Desert Lakes Residence, interior design by Michael Walters, photography by Stephen Schauer, art by The Picturalist

The Desert Lakes Residence, styled by interior designer Michael Walters and photographed by Stephen Schauer, demonstrates what thoughtfully curated wall art does to a space when it is chosen with the same precision applied to every other element of the interior. The art selection for this project — sourced through The Picturalist's trade program — shows how the right works in the right formats and frames integrate with the architecture, reinforce the material palette, and elevate the interior from well-designed to genuinely memorable. Every piece was produced to museum archival standards and delivered within the project timeline. This is what the trade program is designed to make possible — on every project, not just the exceptional ones.

What the Trade Program Offers

Exclusive trade pricing on the full catalog — applied automatically to your account with no minimum order and no per-project application required. Single pieces for a residential client or a full hospitality rollout: the same pricing applies.

Personalized art curation support for active projects. Share your brief, your palette, your client profile, and your room dimensions — our team will surface the works most likely to work before you spend time searching. We understand the difference between a client who wants something safe and a client who's ready for something confident, and we can help you navigate both.

Custom sizing and framing beyond standard configurations. All works are available in custom dimensions. All frame profiles and finishes are available at trade pricing — matte black, natural oak, antique gold, dark walnut, natural maple, silver leaf, gold leaf, and black with gold accent. Floater frames for canvas and Chromaluxe metal in all standard and bespoke profiles.

Color matching to Benjamin Moore, Farrow & Ball, and Pantone specifications. Frame profiles color-matched to existing millwork, furniture finishes, and decorative hardware. In many cases, specific colors within an artwork can be modified to match your preferred paint or fabric selection — billed at $65/hour for graphic design work, typically one hour per artwork.

Virtual framing tool available on every product page — visualize any combination of frame profile, finish, and presentation format at accurate proportions before ordering. Useful for mood board integration and for presenting framing options to clients during project approval stages.

10-business-day standard delivery across the USA and Canada for residential and smaller commercial orders. 20-business-day commercial turnaround for large hospitality and multi-unit orders. All shipments are tracked and packaged in reinforced boxes designed to guarantee condition on arrival.

Early access to new collections, archival releases, and Getty Images Gallery additions before they are made available to retail buyers.

Getty Images Gallery concierge service — for projects requiring a specific image from the full archive, our team can source any photograph by title or asset file number from the Getty Images Gallery collection — including Slim Aarons, Michael Ochs Archives, Redferns Music Photography, and the Hulton Archive — and produce it at any format and size.

Who the Trade Program Serves

The program is designed for residential interior designers working across single-family homes, luxury apartments, vacation properties, and real estate staging — from the first art selection conversation with a new client to the final installation day. It is equally suited to hospitality interior designers and FF&E consultants managing art programs for boutique hotels, resort properties, restaurant groups, and private members clubs. Architects, stagers, and commercial interior specifiers sourcing art for corporate offices, healthcare environments, and commercial developments also benefit from the same pricing, flexibility, and account support.

The Picturalist has supplied art to Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek (Dallas TX), Four Seasons Boston, Harbor View Hotel (Edgartown MA), Hotel Vogue Montreal, and Tryall Golf Club Jamaica — alongside residential projects from the Hamptons and Palm Beach to the Canadian Rockies and the French Riviera. The trade program supports all of it.
