Our Commitment to You
Every piece at The Picturalist is custom made, printed and framed to order, to your exact specifications. That care is what lets us guarantee museum quality on every wall. It also means our policies work a little differently than off-the-shelf retail, and we want you to understand them clearly before you order.
Because each piece is built specifically for you, all sales are final once production begins. We stand behind the craftsmanship of every order: if something arrives damaged or doesn't match what you approved, we will make it right. Details below.
Damage Claims
- Email clear photos of the damage to claims@thepicturalist.com within 5 days of delivery.
- We review every claim personally and issue a replacement of the exact item once damage is confirmed.
- Changing a delivery address after the order ships will incur charges set by our shipping carrier.
Large and Oversized Pieces
Please measure doorways, hallways and elevators before choosing your size. If a piece is refused because it doesn't fit through an entryway, we will issue merchandise credit for the item, minus inbound and outbound shipping. Shipping charges themselves are non-refundable.
Before refusing or returning any item, contact us first at claims@thepicturalist.com, by phone at 1-833-742-8872, or through the chat on our website. We're glad to help you find a solution before a return becomes necessary. If a return does proceed, return shipping costs will apply.
Changing or Cancelling an Order
Production begins as soon as an order is placed. You have 12 hours from the time of order to request a change or cancellation. After that window, the piece is in production and can no longer be modified, cancelled, returned or refunded. We recommend reviewing size, color, framing and any custom details carefully before checkout, and reaching out to our team beforehand if you have any doubts.
Payment, Pricing and Taxes
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to applicable state and local taxes. Availability, pricing and delivery times may change without notice.
Final Sale and Clearance Items
Final sale and clearance items are non-returnable and non-refundable, in addition to the custom-order policy above.
