Art Procurement at Scale

Commercial and hospitality art procurement is one of the most technically demanding segments of the interior design market — and the one where the gap between a supplier who understands it and one who doesn't becomes immediately visible on a project. Deadlines that don't move. Brand standards that must hold across multiple locations. Installation hardware specifications that go beyond what residential framing covers. Volume that residential suppliers can't handle. The Picturalist's hospitality and commercial program is built around all of it — because we have delivered at this level, for clients at this level, on schedules at this level, consistently.

Featured Project — Suites at The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Dallas TX

Design by Thomas Pheasant  |  Art by The Picturalist

Large-format abstract art print in mauve and silver tones above a cream sofa in a luxury hotel suite — Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Dallas TX, design by Thomas Pheasant, art by The Picturalist

The Mansion on Turtle Creek is one of the most celebrated luxury hotel properties in North America — a Forbes Five-Star landmark in Dallas whose suites were designed by Thomas Pheasant, widely regarded as one of America's foremost interior designers and a recipient of the Architectural Digest AD100 recognition. The art program for the suites was supplied by The Picturalist: works selected to integrate with Pheasant's refined, classically-grounded design language, produced to the archival and installation standards that a property of this caliber demands, and delivered on the commercial timeline that a luxury hotel renovation requires. This is the standard we hold ourselves to on every hospitality project — not as an aspiration, but as a demonstrated capability.

What the Hospitality & Commercial Program Offers

Production capacity of 2,000+ prints per day from our North American ateliers — the scale required for large hotel rollouts, multi-property brand programs, and phased commercial installations with tight delivery windows.

20-business-day commercial turnaround for large orders, with dedicated production scheduling for projects requiring coordinated delivery to multiple sites or installation phases. For projects with fixed installation dates, we work backward from your schedule rather than asking you to work around ours.

Hospitality-grade installation specifications as standard across all commercial orders:

  • Security anti-theft wall brackets for high-traffic areas
  • Moisture barriers and humidity-resistant production for spa corridors, pool areas, and coastal installations
  • Chromaluxe metal panels for high-traffic wall positions and exterior covered installations
  • Impact-resistant framing options for gym and fitness environments
  • Commercial floater frames in all profiles for canvas and metal installations

Bespoke color matching to Pantone, Benjamin Moore, or Farrow & Ball specifications — ensuring frame profiles and artwork tones align with brand color standards across multi-property installations. In many cases, specific colors within an artwork can be modified to match existing palette references, billed at $65/hour for graphic design work.

Custom configurations including diptychs, triptychs, and multi-panel arrangements for architecturally significant wall spans — hotel lobbies, restaurant dining rooms, resort corridors, and corporate reception areas where a single panel would not anchor the space. Large-format works available from standard oversized dimensions to fully custom specifications.

Dedicated account management for FF&E teams, procurement directors, and project managers. A single point of contact who understands your project, your timeline, and your specification requirements — and who coordinates production, quality control, and delivery without requiring you to manage those processes yourself.

Getty Images Gallery concierge access — for hospitality projects requiring specific images from the full archive. Our team can source any photograph from the Getty Images Gallery collection by title or asset file number, including the complete Slim Aarons archive, Michael Ochs Archives, and editorial photography from the Hulton and Redferns collections. Slim Aarons on Chromaluxe metal is consistently the most requested format in our hospitality program.

Volume pricing structured to commercial order scales — significantly below trade pricing for large orders, with tiered pricing available for multi-property brand programs and phased rollout schedules.

Art That Performs in Hospitality Environments

The most frequently specified categories in our hospitality program reflect what experienced hospitality designers already know works at scale: Slim Aarons lifestyle photography for its immediate cultural resonance and aspirational warmth; black-and-white photography for its ability to work in every guest room regardless of individual client taste; bold abstract compositions by Evelyn Ogly, Lidia Beiza, and Alejandro Franseschini for lobby statements and restaurant environments; coastal and marine photography by Kevin Dailey and Enric Gener for resort and spa installations; and vintage celebrity and editorial photography from the Getty Images Gallery archive for properties with strong cultural or lifestyle brand identities.

All works are available on 285 gsm archival paper with our full framing range, on gallery-wrapped and floater-framed canvas, and on Chromaluxe metal — with hospitality-grade hardware and finish options across all formats.
