A Wall Art Partner, Not a Print Shop
Every project in a collector's home or a designer's portfolio eventually calls for a piece that cannot be sourced: the client's own photograph, an inherited image, a commissioned visual. The Private Edition closes that gap. Upload the image directly on the product page, select the format that honors its composition, and our studio prints it as a giclée on 100% cotton archival paper with pigment inks rated for over 70 years, the exact standard applied to our licensed fine art collections. Each file is reviewed by our studio for resolution and color fidelity before printing. Your finished print ships within 10 business days.
Five Formats, Composed for Interiors
Rather than arbitrary sizes, The Private Edition is built on five aspect ratios, each aligned with standard framing proportions and distinct placement needs:
- Square, 1:1. Equal width and height. The most versatile format: gallery walls, grids of multiple prints, and symmetrical arrangements above consoles or beds.
- Portrait, 4:5 (Ratio 1.25 Vertical). A gently elongated vertical. Ideal for portraiture and single-subject images; suits narrow walls, entryways and spaces between windows.
- Landscape, 5:4 (Ratio 1.25 Horizontal). A subtly wide horizontal. Balanced proportions for interiors, architecture and still-life imagery above credenzas or fireplaces.
- Portrait, 2:3 (Ratio 1.5 Vertical). The classic 35mm vertical frame. Natural for full-length portraits and fashion photography; commands attention in stairwells and double-height spaces.
- Landscape, 3:2 (Ratio 1.5 Horizontal). The classic 35mm horizontal frame. The definitive choice for landscapes, seascapes and travel photography above sofas and headboards.
Image Quality Requirements
The quality of the final print is determined by the file you provide. For a result worthy of your walls, we recommend:
- Resolution: a minimum of 150 dpi at the final print size; 300 dpi for optimal detail. As a guide, a 24 x 30 inch print calls for a file of at least 3600 x 4500 pixels.
- Color: sRGB or Adobe RGB color profile; our studio color-manages every file before printing.
- Integrity: original, uncompressed files whenever possible; avoid screenshots, social media downloads and heavily edited exports.
Every uploaded file is reviewed by our print studio. If the resolution is insufficient for the selected size, we contact you before production, never after.
Accepted File Formats
Upload your image directly on the product page using the upload button. We accept JPEG, PNG and TIFF files up to 500 MB. TIFF is preferred for maximum fidelity; a high-quality JPEG is entirely suitable for most images.
Production and Delivery

Rights and Confidentiality
By uploading an image, you confirm that you own the reproduction rights or have obtained permission from the rights holder. Your images remain strictly confidential: they are used solely to produce your order and are never added to our collections or shared.
