ABOUT THE ARTIST

Stephan is a dual citizen of France and the US, where he spent most of his life. Following his father's footsteps at a young age, Stephan started dedicating time working in darkrooms and eventually took on photography full time. In 2012, he moved to Bora Bora, French Polynesia, where he has been pursuing his passion for underwater photography while travelling and working with his wife. Stephan's intimate knowledge of Bora Bora's pristine waters makes him the perfect chronicler of moments like Teahupoo—where light, motion, and ocean converge.
