À PROPOS DE L'ARTISTE

J'ai commencé la photographie à treize ans, chez ma grand-mère, au kibboutz, en compagnie de mon jeune cousin. D'abord passe-temps, puis métier, avant de retomber dans l'oubli, elle est aujourd'hui devenue une activité à temps partiel, voire une véritable passion. Je travaille à la croisée de la photographie créative et de la photographie documentaire. Pour paraphraser le grand photographe américain Sam Abell, mon style est documentaire en ce sens que je capture le monde tel qu'il est. Cependant, il possède des qualités transcendantes, puisant leur source dans le documentaire tout en restant ouvert à l'interprétation esthétique.

Je puise mon inspiration dans le monde naturel, et plus particulièrement dans les mers et les océans. Un livre de mes photographies a été publié par Matar Books et MoD Publishing House.
