Paula del Rivero, a self-taught fine artist, was brought up in a family of art enthusiasts and nonprofessional artists who instilled in her a passion for contemporary art from a young age. She was introduced to the work of the leading exponents of abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction, inspiring her to pursue her artistic career.
Paula lived in Ireland, Amsterdam, and New York, where she worked in diverse industries while pursuing her studies.
Paula's artistic inclination and passion led her to choose a career in the Arts, focusing on a variety of media, including printmaking, watercolors, textile, and back-lit wall sculptures she studied under Spanish printmaker and sculptor Mar Prat, who became her studio assistant. Her works have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Spanish Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Printmaking.
