Paula del Rivero, a self-taught fine artist, was brought up in a family of art enthusiasts and nonprofessional artists who instilled in her a passion for contemporary art from a young age. She was introduced to the work of the leading exponents of abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction, inspiring her to pursue her artistic career.
After graduating with a degree in Translation, Paula lived in Ireland, Amsterdam, and New York, where she worked in diverse industries such as programming and graphic design, while pursuing her studies. Her search for her true vocation led her to discover printmaking, where she studied under Spanish printmaker and sculptor Mar Prat, who became her studio assistant.
Paula's artistic inclination and passion led her to choose a career in the Arts, focusing on a variety of media, including printmaking, watercolors, textile, and back-lit wall sculptures. Her works have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Spanish Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Printmaking.
