Sylvie Eudes collaborated though her drawing in iconic french series like Goldorak, Lucky Luke and for the famous studio of René Goscinny, the famous screenwriter of comic books Asterix & Obelix. Comics, Marvel, manga, advertising, travel, vacations, seasons and animals inspire what I love about life, and are endless sources of inspiration for Pop Art. My works reflect the life I dream of, the life we all want a little. My style is often compared to Street Art.
I use the lacquer technique. This delicate technique requires painting flat, it doesn’t allow corrections and requires long weeks of drying.
Two types of works are to be distinguished:
1.The Évasion Collection depicts scenes of daily life, seen through a fictitious window serving as an escape.
2.The Imagination Collection is based on a mixture of scenes, describing activities, moments, places, encouraging contemplation and giving free rein to one’s imagination.
