Ljubica Hajduka, Croatian born in Zagreb and settled after the late 50's in Spain. In 1949 she began to work in the sculpture workshop of Miroslav Vertacnik, and entered the school of the famous painter Krsto Hegedusic, creator of the realistic pictorial movement, which founded the school of modern Yugoslav painting. Her creative career exhibited works in galleries in Madrid, Paris, Vienna, as well as in group exhibitions in Montecarlo and Biarritz.
The universe of Ljubica Hajduka is full of innocent freshness, opening a dreamlike nature, inventing modern melancholy. Her style travels between Naif and Expressionism where poetic inspiration and human melancholy mix with faith in life.
