ABOUT THE ARTIST
ABSID is the sculptural output of two Swedish artists and architects, Maximilian Olsson and André Prusic. Their work combines the use of digital design and manufacturing techniques with traditional crafts. Based in Stockholm, they create concrete sculptures bridging the gap between the physical and digital worlds, in terms of creation and manufacturing techniques.
ABSID’s artistic output is grounded in process and research, exploring themes like analog-digital transformation, reuse, digital modulation and randomization. This results in extraordinary objects, which naturally trigger the viewer’s curiosity whilst raising many questions.
