ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sylvie Eudes has worked through her drawing in iconic French series such as Goldorak, Lucky Luke and for the famous studio of René Goscinny, the famous scriptwriter of the comics Asterix & Obelix. Comics, comics, manga, advertising, travel, holidays, seasons and animals inspire what I love about life, but are also endless sources of inspiration for Pop Art.

My works reflect the life I dream of, the life we all want a little bit. My style is often compared to street art. I use the lacquer technique. This filigree technique requires painting flat, doesn't allow for corrections and takes long weeks to dry.

Two types of works can be distinguished: 1. the Évasion Collection shows scenes of everyday life viewed through a fictitious window that serves as a vanishing point. 2. the Imagination Collection is based on a mixture of scenes that describe activities, moments and places, provoke reflection and give free rein to the imagination.
